The Old World is dying. It is a place of scarcity and fear, where we struggle to define ourselves and our value against a backdrop of productivity. Believing we are valuable for what we produce and do, we find ourselves drawn into a battle that cannot be won, fighting for a place on the hierarchy of external validation.
In the New World, you know you are loved and valuable. It is a gift of your Spirituality, something that needs no proof. With your energy no longer tied up in a futile war, you turn your attention to finding out who you really are, a far more complex and magnificent being than you dreamed possible. You discover your strengths and talents, your passions and purpose.
Imagine a world abundant with love, with an access to unlimited internal resources. Here, your only real job is to receive the gift of Life gratefully and have fun growing. There is no one to rescue, and nothing is demanded of you. You are free to contribute your gifts or not, for the joy of it.
This New World is not a Utopian ideal of a perfected self. It is a playground of self-discovery, borne of a whole new paradigm of consciousness.
A Joyful Path
At Lucid Living, we understand that the steps of getting somewhere are the qualities of being there. If you want to live in a world of love and acceptance, love and acceptance is the path. A joyful new world is not something you can earn or achieve. It will not work to push and drive yourself to attain a state of happiness. The more you attempt to control your life, the more enslaved you become.
It is only by becoming lovingly aware of every mechanism you employ to control yourself that you can free yourself from the prisons of the past.

The Old World says the ends justify the means. In the New World, the ends are the means. More important than what you choose to do with the life you are given, is how you do it and the motivation behind it.
One of the greatest challenges of the Lucid Living work is to really comprehend that you are loved for no reason. It is a gradual process of dismantling a web of lies you have been telling yourself for years. It is a paradox, because if you really knew this, many of the skills we teach would be automatic. But until you know, you can practice the skill set that comes naturally to someone who does know.

A relatively small group of people on the planet glimpse this New World and are hungry to live in it... hungry enough to trust the vision and be responsible for creating it. As pioneers of consciousness, they are discovering the fun of creating realities within and watching them materialize. Like magic.
